What’s your go-to coffee order and what does this reveal about your personality?
It used to be a single espresso back home, but now it’s batch brew. I think that reflects how I’ve adapted — still appreciating strong, simple coffee, but also embracing new habits in a different place.
What role does coffee play in your life and why does it matter to you?
Coffee is the first thing I need in the morning. Maybe it’s because I’m Italian — the first thing you say when you meet someone is, “Do you want a coffee?” It’s not just about caffeine, it’s part of how I start my day and connect with people.
Which is your favourite Common roast and why?
The Complex roast — I love it as a batch brew. It delivers a real punch of flavour, and it makes me slow down to actually taste it.
How does coffee fit into your idea of connection?
For me, coffee has always been about sharing. It’s the ritual, the pause, the excuse to spend time together — never just the drink on its own.
Can you share a memorable moment when you connected with someone over a cup of coffee?
Back home, I remember brewing moka pot after moka pot with family and friends. Each refill stretched the conversation, the laughter, the sense of being together. That’s what coffee means to me — not just a drink, but a rhythm of connection.
