Grown in China’s Yunnan region at 1800 masl, this season’s release comes from Banka Farm and its washing station in Mengalian Dai, Lahu and Va Autonomous County, named after the nearby villages of Banka Yi and Banka Er where the cherries are harvested.
Their work focuses on innovation, from yeast fermentation processing to cultivating varieties such as Pacamara and Yellow Bourbon.
In the cup, this natural lot is boozy and fruit-forward with a medium body, balancing juicy stone fruit notes, jammy sweetness, and a dark chocolate richness.
Indochina has partnered with Yunnan Coffee Traders since 2016, supporting their pioneering work in Menglian County, where they operate across farming, milling, research, and training to drive quality and sustainability in Chinese specialty coffee.
