Common Coffee
Strong
The one we reach for when the day asks for a bit more. Strong is our Brazil and Guatemala blend — naturally processed beans from Tarsilla and washed beans from Ceiba — built to taste of dark chocolate, roasted almonds and a quiet hint of cherry.
Roasted to order in small batches, then sent out within days. No clever marketing, just a coffee we actually drink ourselves.
Tasting notes
- Dark chocolate
- Roasted almonds
- Chocolate cherries
Brazil — Tarsilla, Minas Gerais
Grown in the Cerrado region of Minas Gerais and prepared by the team at Ocafi, Tarsilla is a natural-process coffee that brings the chocolate-and-nut backbone to the blend. We source it through Coffee Care's transparent partner programme, which keeps the producer relationship close and the prices fair.
Guatemala — Ceiba, Huehuetenango
From smallholders around Huehuetenango at roughly 1,500m, Ceiba is washed and dried slowly. It adds the brightness and the quiet hint of cherry. Sourced via Unitrade through the same Coffee Care programme.
How to drink it
- Black filter or pour-over — clean, chocolatey, easy to keep drinking.
- With milk or oat — holds its weight, doesn't disappear.
- Espresso — thick, dark, a touch of fruit underneath.
Roasted to order in London. Ground for your kit, or whole bean if you grind at home.
